As you might have gathered by viewing the washing machine page the aim of Washer-wise is to give good down to earth advice, but in the end to be guided by what the customer needs and wants. So for all your tumble dryer problems just give us a call.
These days tumble dryers tend to be more of a disposable item than they were some years ago, a new tumble dryer can now be purchased for less than £150 and in some cases a lot less, so tumble dryer repair cost limits tend to be drastically reduced. However there is always a concern with some of the very cheap tumble dryers as to what life span they have compared to some of the better known brands that carry more washing machine like price tags ? When you look at some of the condenser dryers, they can actually cost more than the same brand, matching washing machine, so the humble, tumble dryer is not always a throw away article. Why not just give us a ring to discuss your particular problem ?
Vented v Condenser ?
This is a conversation I have on a regular basis with customers and the simple answer I always give is this . . . .
The difference between the two on the surface is simple, vented dryers get rid of the steam from the wet washing through a wall or window vent and condenser dryers don't, they collect or dispose of the steam via a water tank or pump. If you have the facility to vent or the possibility to make this facility then I always say, seriously consider a vented dryer over a condensing version. If you are interested to find out why I hold this belief so strongly take a peak at the longer story in the hidden hints page.
We can repair or replace either sort of dryer to suit your needs and budget, so before making the final decision why not give us a call for a no obligation chat about the options.
